Brad Kruse — St. Croix Curling Center Representative
Brad is a member of both the St. Paul Curling Club and the St. Croix Curling Center, as well as a charter member of the Frogtown Curling Club when it opened in 2011, where he started curling in fall 2011. Brad found out about curling when watching it in the 2010 olympic and soon discovered that a good friend was a member of the St. Paul Curling Club. She invited him to a Learn to Curl class and he’s been hooked ever since. Brad’s favorite curling moments were being on a team that won the A Event in the Polar Spiel in 2018 at the Frogtown Curling Club and going 0-3 but winning the Wall of Beer at the 2010 Inaugural Frogtown Bonspiel (Curl the Biff - named Biff Adams before it became Frogtown in 2011).
Brad is volunteering with the TCCA in order to further expand the sport of curling and hope to continue to refine the Learn to Curl and Recruitment process in order to recruit more curlers into the sport. In addition to Brad’s many volunteer roles, he is also a Level 1 Certified Curling Instructor and dedicates many hours each season to getting new curlers on the ice!
